Techny, Ill. — The Society of the Divine Word welcomes all to the Chapel of the Holy Spirit in Techny Towers Conference and Retreat Center for Christmas and New Year’s.

This year’s holiday Mass schedule is:
Sunday, Dec. 24 – Midnight Mass
Monday, Dec. 25 – 10 a.m.
Monday, Jan. 1 – 10 a.m.

In 2018, Techny Towers will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the groundbreaking for the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Techny Towers is a ministry of the Society of the Divine Word, the world’s largest order of Catholic missionary priests and brothers. Founded in 1875 by St. Arnold Janssen, the Society of the Divine Word has approximately 6,000 members who serve the spiritual and social needs of people in more than 70 countries.

As an intercultural religious organization, the Society of the Divine Word welcomes and offers hospitality to all people. The Chapel of the Holy Spirit is open seven days a week during daylight hours; Mass is celebrated each Sunday at 10 a.m. and Monday through Thursday at 5 p.m.

In addition to retreats and liturgical celebrations, Techny Towers provides meeting space and services for non-profit organizations.
