Last weekend, Father Adam Oleszczuk SVD, provincial superior of the Chicago Province, visited confreres working in Memphis, Tennessee.
He participated in the Stations of the Cross and co-celebrated Masses at Sacred Heart Church alongside Father Brandon Hiep Nguyen SVD, the pastor, and Father Stephan Brown SVD on Friday.
“The liturgies were unique as they were conducted in three languages: English, Spanish, and Vietnamese,” Father Oleszczuk said.
On Palm Sunday, he also joined the liturgical celebrations at St. Augustin Church, led by Father Brown, and at St. Joseph parish, led by Father Juan Antonio Romo Romo SVD.
“Once again, the visit to these multilingual communities has deepened my appreciation for the charism of our society and the dedication of the men serving God’s people,” Father Oleszczuk said. “I am sincerely thankful for the warm hospitality shown to me during this visit.
